Catch up part two of "Planet of the Pulled Pork Recipes"

Or you can eat your sandwich while sitting on the Thames,
making all the tourists jealous in London.
Well if you didn't catch the previous post, this was supposed to be Wens post, which has now been edited to give you the only thing any of us need: more pork tastiness!

Sinful Pulled Pork Sandwiches
(One Sandwich at a time!)

Tools:
Plate
Bowl

Ingredients:
1/3 cup of heated pulled pork
1/3 cup of warmed sauerkraut
1/4 cup of thinly sliced onions
your favorite yellow deli-style relish.
2 slices of your favorite rye bread
1 slice of swiss cheese

This is a fantastically quick meal if you are on the go or want something to make all of your friends jealous with the fantastic lunch you've prepared for yourself. I tend to eat this with a side of potato chips and pickles, but that's me fulfilling my longing for a good deli in town that isn't part of a supermercado or mega-mart.

In the bowl, combine the sauerkraut (I like the kroger brand of 'kraut that they have for cheap in their sausage section, although if you can get homemade, then score) and the pulled pork, and warm it in the microwave using whatever reheating options you are given (or in 30 second bursts if your microwave doesn't have a reheat option). Lay out your bread, and on one side build up your sandwich in the following order: onion, mustard, 'kraut/pork (try to leave as much of the juice in the bowl as possible, or you'll have a soggy sandwich), and cheese.

You will want to do this in this order so the good rye bread will soak up any excess juices from the 'kraut/pork as the flavors mingle. Put the top of the sandwich on, and flip it over so the juices don't totally soak the bread through. This meal is best served by eating it in front of friends who have crappy lunch meat sandwiches from the local supermercado.

Bien Camino!
